Meet our Senior Partner – George (Yisrael) Rosenberg, one of the founding members of our boutique firm. George was born in Vienna, Austria, and migrated to Montreal, Canada where he started his career as an attorney in the prestigious firm Spiegel Sohmer Inc., following in the footsteps of his father, who was an Austrian lawyer for many years. Continuing his successful endeavors after migrating to Israel with his family and opened a law firm in the city of Haifa, George has become one of Israel’s most senior experts in trusts and wealth management. With more than five decades of experience, George leads the practices in International Wealth Planning for Private Clients and Taxation.
In his role as the head of the International Wealth Planning for Private Clients practice, George provides expert counsel to a diverse clientele, including High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth (HNW and UHNW) individuals, as well as corporate entities such as private and public companies, commercial banks, foreign insurance companies and private clients from Israel and around the world.
George and his team specialize in handling complex trusts, both within Israel and abroad, demonstrating profound expertise in the laws of various international trust jurisdictions. Their continuous collaboration with local counsels around the globe ensures a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of legal landscapes in these areas.

A prolific author, George has contributed significantly to legal literature with publications such as “Legal Aspects of Doing Business in the Middle East – Israel” in the International Business Series by Kluwer Law and Taxation Publishers, and “International Joint Ventures in Israel” featured in International Joint Ventures, Matthew Bender & Company, Inc., along with numerous articles in taxation journals.
George is an esteemed member of professional organizations, including the International Bar Association (past National Reporter for Israel on the Tax Committee), American Bar Association, Union International des Advocates, International Tax Planning Association, and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). His vast knowledge and extensive network make him a leading figure in the field of trusts and wealth management.
